The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students attending Kingman Academy of Learning. Pupil transportation is demand driven and consequently bus routes change often. To stay informed on the latest updates in routing or bus stop information please click on the bus schedules link.
Ensure your child is at the bus stop 2-4 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Your student will be denied the opportunity to ride the bus, to or from school, if they have any of the prohibited items: Skateboards or any coasting vehicles, glass items, animals, insects, reptiles (alive or dead), baseball or softball bags with the bats exposed.
Please do not allow your child to go to the bus stop with such items, they will be left at the bus stop.
Bus Safety Rules
- All passengers shall comply with the instruction given to them by the driver
- Sit down, properly, facing the front
- Hands to yourself
- Talk quietly to the person sitting next to you
- No eating food (any sort), no weapons/dangerous instruments, tobacco, alcohol or drugs on the bus
Remember, lost items can be found at the Transportation Office as well as at your child's school. If your child is missing something and cannot find it at school, please call us.
Students within a one mile radius of the school will not be provided with bussing. Students in Intermediate through High School may be walking up to three-quarters of a mile from the bus stop to their destination.
